Composing black food on the palm of the hand.
At the “black” event we broke the conventional relationship between food, eating utensils, and the diner.
Every guest reached out their hand, that was then tied to a velvet pillow.
A gourmet dish was composed, according to the size of the palm and the guest’s willingness to participate.
And between their lifelines and fingertips , we created
a dish that could not exist on a plate.
The only way to eat the dish, was to bring your hand to your mouth, to lick, or bite.
